UniVox VoWiFi phone features
UniVox meets all the necessary standards, and implements additional features to ensure users of superior performance:
- UniVox uses SIP version 2, the widely adopted open protocol for initiating voice or video calls across internet connections.
- UniVox supports 802.11e and WMM-SA (Wi-Fi Multimedia Scheduled Access) to provide optimized and prioritized quality of service (QoS) - eliminating potential latency or jitter.
- CVC (clear voice capture) echo cancellation algorithms assure end-users of optimal sound quality.
- Support for 802.11i, WEP, WPA and WPA2 security standards means UniVox-based designs will be compatible with standard wireless router protocols.
- UniVox can also be custom configured with IP and gateway addresses, and the alternative IAX2 protocol, allowing ODMs to produce branded ‘out of the box’ VoWiFi phones specific for broadband or VoIP service providers.
